    Chuck,

Yes, these are all owned by the Collings Foundation. You are also right about the B-24, it was painted two years ago to become the Witchcraft.

    I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.

Yup, that's it. Somewhere here I have a book highlighting both the 17 and 24. I believe I packed it away to move, but when I can find it I'll let you have it. Great some great shots in it.

I highly recommed a flight in any of these aircraft. The flight experience is awesome! Something else, the flights are tax deductible.

Eric, super photos, I take it that neither paint scheme is original to this plane?

No, the paint schemes are not original to the planes. They change the paint jobs on the plane from time to time to honor different fighting groups throughout the war. I can tell you that the B-25 that is shown here in the thread never made it to war. If you notice it does not have the top turret. I believe, if I remember right, it was used here in the states for training. As for the other two I will have to do some research to get their stories. Still it is the ride of a life. To hear those engines power up and to crawl around the plane while its in flight is something I will remember for the rest of my life. If you get the chance I would go up in one. You won't regret it.

If I remember correctly the Nine-o-nine also didn't make it overseas, but am not sure on the 24.

Fantastic! I'm very jealous Chet, we just don't get these kind of oportunities in the UK. How much does a flight cost if you don't mind me asking?

                        Ben,
The B-25 carries six passengers. Due to the bombay in the middle of the aircraft this is no movement fore and aft. Two ride in the front and four in the back. The front seats go for $400 and the rear seats cost $350. The flight lasts about fourty minutes. This includes take-off and landing.
