A few words about the ME 262
The Messerschmitt Museum located within the EADS site at Manching,
Southern Germany now hosts a rebuilt Me262.
It is one of the five Me262 models rebuilt by a group of historic aircraft
experts in a hall located at the Boeing Paine Field site at Everett, Seattle.
Cargolux had been contacted for the lift of this model to Germany,
initially forecast for autumn 2005.
After several administrative delays concerning clearance for export by the US
authorities, “Tango Tango” had finally arrived to Luxembourg on flight CV
7732 from Seattle to Luxembourg on 10 January 2006. From Luxembourg it
had then been transported to Manching, near Munich, where it was
re-assembled by Messerschmitt and EADS technicians.
The re-assembled fighter is now back in the skies of Germany

Two aircraft worth travelling to see, delighted to see them here and happy for the pleasure you took in seeing them.

PS the weather can let us all down.
First time I travelled to see the BoB Memorial flight it was a no show for them beacuse of bad weather en route , they had to turn back.
