Sizing of Chinese reproductions

Hi there

Most of you will probably agree that the reproduction uniforms coming out of China these days are pretty good value for money. However I have been looking to buy a Panzer Wrapper from one of these suppliers for some time, but it seems that they are only availible in larger sizes. The smallest size that I've seen in a Panzer Wrapper on e bay is size 40 chest/32 waist. Which is a bit annoying for a thinner re-enactor like myself who usually takes a size 36/38 in a jacket and 76/80 in trousers.

Does anyone know of a supplier who does good uniforms in smaller sizes at a reasonable price?

Hi Matt

Thanks for the advice. I guess in the world of reproductions the saying 'you get what you pay for' Is as true as it is anywhere else. I think perhaps the best plan for me is to save up and get a really good quality repro from Lost Battalions or somewhere like that. Unless somebody out there has a secondhand field grey Panzer wrapper in a size 36 or 38 that they'd like to sell?

However, some of the Chinese gear isn't that bad. The DAK uniforms that I have seen are really good. They're made of decent material and they can stand up to a bit of punishment without falling to bits.
