    Dispatch Rider/ Para Helmet conversion

    Gents:

Anyone know of someone who is capable of converting a WWII British dispatch rider's helmet into a WWII British para helmet? Also, who is a good source to get the proper netting and scrim camo too? Please advise by post or pm, and thanks very much for your assistance!

The PM conversions are excellent and well worthy of consideration if you want a fibre-rim style helmet. If you don't mind webbing chin straps you could of course just buy a post-WWII British para helmet, they look the same as the WWII helmets and were used right up until the 1980s. These are much cheaper than a WWII airborne lid and it would mean that you could keep your original DR helmet intact ; )
