Museum of Science and Industry (U-505)

    Hello folks,
My wife, cousin and best friend visited the Museum of Science and Industry in March of 2002. Well these are some pictures that I took of the U-505.

    Regards,
    Jody

                  The Stuka

Let us not forget the other thing the museum has from Nazi Germany that I think is just as cool-the Stuka . This Stuka still has the original paint from when it was captured in N. Africa.

                        Hi Jody.

Nice of you yor share this pictures with us. Thank you.
U-505 has lately been restored and moved indoors. One can only hope that the U-995 in Laboe will be protected against wind and weather before it is too late.

Have you seen the fine site about U-505? http://www.msichicago.org/exhibit/U505/index.html.

I belive the Stuka is 1 of only 2 left in the world. I have seen the other one at the RAF museum in London.
