    Hidden Bunker

    Hello All,
Not sure if this is old news.

British newspaper today printed an article about a massive German WW2
artillery command and control complex, found under a french
    field

    Grandchamp Maisy Lower Normandy

I have scanned part of the article.

    Cheers,
    John.

strange to read about the rooms full of artillery shells and other artifacts as I was with Gary this weekend and when asked had he found anything excavating this site which apparently isn't that big his answer was not found very much just two 44 dated US plastic waterbottles and a few empty 7.92 cases the rooms had been completely stripped out in the late 40s by the Americans French and any body else who visited, he is hoping to open it up later this year and is going to write an article about it in the Armourer magazine but the truth is it wasn't secret it is not enormous but interesting nevertheless

Hi Paul, Just checked the "Armourer" website; there are quite a few photos on it and some interesting text from Gary:

I don't get why he thinks its so important??

There are hundreds of sites just like this one rotting away on the Atlantic coastline. Nothing special about this one whatsoever.

I'll have to fish my Atlantic Wall books out - wouldnt mind betting this one is in the Mur D'Atlantique book, which has many an original map in it.

This has been just one big PR stunt for a bloke trying to make a Euro or two from this site.
