As you say i have read so much about the fighting on the track and i think the only way to even get a glimpse of what they went to is to do the track myself, i was inspired to do the track by the passing of my neighbour who was a stretcher bearer in the 2/16th. I am realy wanting to find some places with militaria still about just so i can stop and be reminded of what went on though it would be good to find a small remider to bring home.
