To those who are re-enactors, especially German re-enactors, I need help.
I went to a tactical of the Battle of the Bulgde, and the Germans were out numbered 2 to 1. The GI's had Mortors (120 rounds), 2-Bazookas 8 shots each.
So I am working on some plans to make snap mines and trip wires that set off smoke grenades. Sine I do a Panzer Grenadier impression this is right up my alley.
What I need is some idea that have worked for others in the past and present.
During the tactical we Germans shot, died, and retreated. When the GI's launched their mortors 5 guys were taken out of the front line. Then another 5, then the bazookas fired and took out our machine gun nest. All we had was small arms.
This is AWFUL in my book. The German Wehrmacht was better than this. They mined the fronts, laid trip wires, did everything they could to stop the frontal assault of the attacking enemy.
So any ideas would be nice.
Thanks,
