    If you want I can post some pictures of Mar******248;y hkb 38/971

    This is the info I have on both forts.

    Fors******248;y:

    Four 15.5 cm. K432 (b)
    Three 20 mm. A.A guns
    Two 4,7 cm. anti-tank guns.
    Two light M.G's
    One S.L 60 cm

    Mar******248;y:

    Four 10,5 cm K33(f)
    one 7,5 cm gun
    Three 20 mm A.A guns
    Two heavy and two light M.G's
    One 5 cm mortar
    Two flame-throwers
    One S.L, 60 cm

      Thanks for the great photos. As I have said before it is nice to have forum members share photos like these. The reason is that most of us may never get the opportunity to see this in person. Thanks again for the great photos and the history.

        Hello again Nor!
        I am a little more familiar with Mar******248;y, but thanks for the offer! It seems (from distance) that the firecontrolpost has the same design as Mar******248;y, and could have a 10cm thick Stahlschartenplatte as reinforcement in the roof!
        Did you enter the firecontolpost at Fors******248;y? In that case I would be interested in some interior photos of the observation room!

        As for the weapons, here is a complete list from the Divisionsgliederung der 280.Inf.Div.
        Many seems to give 4 x K432(b) as mainguns, but the correct number is 5!


        32./977 Fors******246;

        5 x 15,5cm K432 (b)
        2 x 4,7cm Pak (f)
        1 x 2cm KwK
        2 x 2cm Flak
        1 x 150cm Scheinwerfer
        2 + 2 x MG (n)
        10 x Flammwerfer42
