The letter H is marked in the entrance. Could it be a classification mark?

As earlyer working as a skilled corrotion worker I have acsess to all I need to clean and restore it.

I have also found a german metal bunker door fitting perfect the bunker.
I have a big dreager apparate to restore clean air. I have acsess to a german soldiers locker and a bunkerphone with the "feind hort mit"plate on it. Last, I have acsess to a german tripod to mg-34 modified by german waffenmeister to mount a bunkerwall and shooting out the bunker window.

I have pics of the art.base 1km from here and copy of the minefield maps around this area. All bunkers here had hotline to the art.base as they also had observers to the seaside some houndred meters from here..
Well this is my contribute to my project, hope you find it interesting.

Great thread Ernst! I really hope you can make through this project, and it looks like you got the effort it takes to rebuilt the bunker as it stod in 1945. Go for it
Looking forward to see it "live" someday.

I remember all the summers down in the south of Norway when I was a kid, how I used to love running around in all those bunker complexes (there are sevarl thousend of them here in Norway). If any of you want to have a great "bunker-summer", you should take a tour to the south of Norway. Bunkers that have not yet been opend are still posible to find!

Ps: Just make sure that your wife dont find any use for it Ernst

              Cheers mate

                Thanks for the replies.
And yes you are invited when I am finished. You do live in the oposit side of the contry so you must be real interested in bunkers huh? We got some really fine batterys here where nobodys living for miles away! Some with big artilleri pices still in positions.

Some interesting photos of a rather strange bunker you got there!
However, I wouldn`t be too sure that the holes in the outer walls are for any weapons at all. Most MG bunkers I`ve seen has a armoured steelplate which can be closed. This looks more like a window to let daylight in....What we call "Lysgrav" in Norway!

May I ask which city you are living in?

You can convert the bunker into your private activity center.
It's a good place to keep all the education pictorial books & magazines
Never afraid your wife will lock the door up.

i'll tell my wife about this thread, it'll scare her! she knows that if i ever find a nice property in the Tromsø area with a bunker then we'll be moving...mind you she already calls my room in the basement my 'bunker'

Talking of private properties with wartime history. My favourite so far is the navvies cabin used by Dietl as his HQ at Bjørnfjell in 1940, which is now a privately owned hytte
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

                              Ernst,
A very intresting thread! Considering you are a collector it would only be natural to restore it to it's former condition. I bet all of us would love to have one of these on our property. I know I would!
