    Fallschirm Repro Stuff from Knackmandel

    Have some one any experience what the quality is of the stuff placed on E-bay by Knackmandel such as Fallschirmjäger trousers, smocks etc... ?

          I have seen a couple of these jump smocks and the Splinter pattern on the material is pure fantasy, it resembles Splinter "A" rather than the correct Splinter "B" pattern.
          These smocks are also supplied "stone washed" to give them that worn look but it doesn't work as the wear is uniformal over the entire garment. IMH these smocks are fine for private battles but for static displays or to dress a manequin with they are wrong.
          I cannot comment on the jump trousers though.

            Knackmandl stuff...

            Hi all

            By looking at all the stuff he has he is just another one of those "Sturm" re-sellers. Sturm's wool stuff is really good, the FJ smocks, so far, are not! Wrong pattern and/or wrong material. Anyway, it pays off to compare the prices...most dealers now a days have the same stuff but different prices and different selling stategies...

              It looks like that guy is just reselling Hong Kong stuff for twice as much as you would pay on ebay.

                  Not only the same material, but BarryLyndon has a website (not functioning for buying yet) and the pictures are the same. Buy direct and save a lot of money.
