    signs at 2 bunkers

    Hi.

    I have added some pictures here of some markings that I saw on 2 bunkers at Rötingi hkb.

    Can anyone tell me what this is?
    The one is FPXVIII and the other one is just a painted L (my guess is Lager).

          FP are short for "Festpunkt" which were known referencepoints in the terrain, used when mapping minefields. You will find atlest two of these for every German minefield!

          L is short for "Leicht", and means that the walls of the bunker are not bombproof. Usually the L was added on walls which were between 1 -1,5 meters of concrete, but sometimes they are not marked at all.
          Bombproof bunkers should be marked "St", short for "Standhäftiger"
