Hoping you can help. I am doing research on a project and need to interview Wehrmacht servicemen who had direct contact with American forces. Preferably Normandy, Battle of the Bulge or the defence of German territory. This could be Panzer Corp, Luft, Waffen-SS or regular infantry. My study will focus on their experiences in combat, prisonership and final return home. I am searching for individuals (whether they live in Germany or not) who had direct contact with American forces, I must repeat that. This forum is a rich source of who-knows-whos, so I am hoping you might find some individual who would like to discuss their military experiences. My other projects are based on first-hand interviews where possible, so this is vital to my research. I am willing to travel to where the individual is located if they fit the needed criteria.
