SS helmets found. Neither were recovered in bunkers, and were not deep. They are NOT in good condition compared to what can be found deep in the bunkers. The helmet to the right still has some haire inside it, but was NOT found with a body.

The floor of a trench, covered with hundreds and hundreds of spent bullets. Not the piece of newspaper mixed in with the casings.

The floor in trenches was often made out of empty ammo boxes. This box still had its original cardbord mortar increment boxes intact, with the incrememnts still inside.

An SS marked starp, still in good condition. The two runes are of course because of "sod's law/ Murphies law" almsot invisible, esspecialy on this scan.

That all I will post for now. If you have any questions, go ahead.
The pictures arent the best, as I didnt necesarely have my camera ready at the right moment. And for those who wanted to see a mint SS helmet being dug up, sorry, but it s rare to find them, and I have no pics.

Damn, wish the preservation conditions were as good in my neck of the woods.

Lot's of sweat and hard work there, seems like you have to really earn your goodies.
