    Next week in Normandy

This weekend I will start my holidays and as a part of them I will be in Normandy next week, I have planned to visit Caen, Omaha beach, Bayeaux, La Cambe, Ambletouse and Saumur, as I will have also some free days I, probably, make a couple of visits more, but still to decide to where.

If you read that Saumur Tiger is missing, please don't look for it in Canary Island

When I'll be back I will put some photos from my trip, also I plan to meet some collectors and vets.

    Any advise is wellcomed.

    Enjoy !!

Angel, enjoy your trip to Normandy - there is a lot to see and its worth going.
Look in La Cambe for men like Eugen Prinz , and watch your footing on the memorial it can be very slippery when wet .

I will be at work ......"SNAFU"

Have a good holiday and don't forget your raincoat .

      Hi Angel,
Normandy is beautiful, landscape museums you'll have a great time.
My only bit of advice would be not to touch andouille sausage.

      Cheers, Luc

Luc, thats good advice, a friend of mine owns an old property near Vire that he is doing up. One of his neighbours drives a truck, a while back he made a delivery of some raw ingredients to the "veritable" Andouille factory in Vire. I am sure its a nice sausage if you like to eat animal parts used in reproduction etc.....

Whilst he were at my friends place two weeks ago, we did visit Mont Ormel, Vimoutier and the ford on the Dives at Chambois, very peaceful now, but eerie.

So, here is a picture I took on the 24th of Sept, a glorious day, looking up the corridor of death, from the crossing point of the Dives.
