That's right, totaly funded by public subscription, not one penny from the Government or the Lottery Fund.........Disgusting.....
Sorry, but this Government and the Lottery fund make me sick. They should have dug deep for this memorial, it was these young men and women that put a stop the Hitlers intended invasion of Britain, were it not for them half of us would not even be here........
I do feel quite strongly about this as my father was in the RAF, though not involved in the Battle of Britain.
