    German vehicle shovel?

hello, I didn't know in wich forum I can place...
Is this a good vehicle shovel or are there several makers? becouse it is a different one than in the book VW Kübelwagen in detail (Wings & Wheels Publications).
It has a MM: a spade with A?RC in it and a date 194?

    How much are they worth?

That looks like a good one to me. The pattern is good and there were many makers of shovels. And this one is also not Swiss or Swedish army issue. I have seen them with a big H stamped on, for Heer, but most I've seen were unmarked.

Marking is probably A B & C...I've seen a wartime shovel with this mark plus a big H and perhaps waffenampt stamp...also without, like yours. I even had a Bundeswehr shovel, similar blade but welded instead of rivited, made by the same maker, so this maker survived the war to make shovels for Bundeswehr vehicles too.

No, I'm afraid I don't know the value of such a shovel. Over here in the U.S., there are many folks who would ask, or pay, 75, 100 or 125 for it, but it depends on how bad they want one. I got mine dirt cheap off Ebay.de, but I suppose they are much more common in Europe than here.
