We Finns love our peace and quiet too! Sometimes we get unwanted visitors to our summer houses... like relatives who come there un-invited and are looking free "bed & breakfast" for few days
Luckily, since Finland is such an hi-tech country, there is a technical aides to prevent these visits.
First, there is surveilance! My wife is demonstrating.Attached Files

Some great shots from North Finland, were they taken in the Kilpisjärvi area or the Sturmbock stellung area? If they're from further South towards Tornio i'd very much like to know as for me the combat positions with evidence of fighting (the empty cases) are of real interest to me. Those rough and ready stone positions are typical of those seen on the Northern Scandinavian battlefields. In fact i've just come back from 12 days in Finnmark county and found a whole lot similar to these along the German built road which connected Tårnet (Norway) to Petsamo (then Finland, now Russia) and was the main road along which much of the XIX Gebirgs Korps conducted a fighting retreat in October '44.Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

I am at work now for couple of weeks. After that I can show you those positions on map. Supply area is quite near place called Salla. The battle area is next to a major road so it is very easy to find.
