I would suggest that 2 full weeks is too much ,it is for me anyway. a week I can get on license,any more than that and I may come home to an empty house !

If there is going to be a trip next year after the winter, I am in.
How is it to drive in Russia? I live in Norway and there are car ferries going from Stockholm in Sweden to Tallinn... Maybe easier to take a flight to Leningrad?

I like this Idea of a digging vacation! For next year we should organize a trip for about 10 days including one week digging.

What was the outcome of this years digging?

Im definetely on for next year, either organizing by myself or part of a group.
