Early reenactor helmet?

This is an unusual US made M-42. Have any of you reenactor guys ever seen one of these? Anyone have information on the maker? Regards, Ron.

Yes, I own one of these and I was told they were made for the 1977 movie "A Bridge too Far"

Wow! How about that! The paint finish is quite good although the decals are typical junk from that period. Does yours have that shiny liner? Regards, Ron.
