Laos

My Father would have been deployed to Laos with this unit. Several of the guys that were killed were all from his Detachtment (Det 1, 1st CEVG (combat eval group). My dad (Tsgt John M. Cook, 1st CEVG) didn't deploy because of the training he had and info/security clearance he had while being an instructor at Keesler AFB, according to him, he knew too much. John Daniels or La Junta Colorado has come up in regards to Etchberger. My dad knew John Daniels well as he was the commander to the local DAV chapter. Sad to see what happened to these young men, it was all hush/hush so not too much info got out to the families of what was occuring. Thanks for posting, CHris... WIsh my dad was still alive to see this.
