    Negative question

So I got a bunch of original negatives from my grandfather. Around christmas I got a bunch developed and they turned out great. I was amazed how good the technology was with the digital scans, even some that were half way faded scanned and were clear as day. I dug up all the rest and most are perfect and will develop just fine. Some are pretty faded but should turn out good and some are just completely blank to the point the film is crystal clear. I assume those ones are gone forever but does anyone know ballpark whats worth getting developed? If I were to guess id say 70% faded and better will turn out just fine, but I dont wanna spend money on negatives that will turn out blank, id rather scan whats good and get some prints of the best pictures vs having 30 to 50 blank scans. Also some pics are really blurry and even have other images ghosted on to them from 70 years of heat and humidity. Also since I dont have a film archieve my plan is to donate them somewhere good after I get them scanned. I was thinking the ww2 museum in new orleans since he lived in slydell all his life and chances are those pics have people who lived down in Louisiana and Mississippi. He was an active member of the washington artillery even after he retired from service, organizing events and going to reunions and such. He even had a roster of a whole bunch of people who served with them. Would they want these and is there a way I can find out someone to send them to. Thank you for any info you guys can give me, or advice!
