Removing glue from wool uniform?

Hello,

I have a wool dress uniform which a previous collector owner glued insignia to I have been able to "peel" the insignia off without damaging the coat, but it has left behind an area of hardened glue, which I would like to have removed.

Can anyone recommend a professional conservator who could perhaps undertake such work?. I have tried very carefully picking the clue off, but with limited success. It does not appear to have sunk deeply into the wool, but is well bonded to the surface.

You will need to try and identify the type of glue. Many of them cannot be removed without damaging or discoloring the cloth.
