Where can I get those acid free covers that fit Soldbuch size exactly?
I am also ready to buy if someone has spare ones, even used...

I make my own little pouches with acid free paper (or more like a very thin cardboard) , that way I figure they wont sweat with temperature changes.

Hello Marcel, The Janssen site states these covers are polypropylene.
I don't believe polypropylene is ever considered acid free.

I doubt if there are any Acid-free covers even made to that size (not counting museum products that are never within reasonable price range).

-As Hofstetter brought up, I , too cut down my own acid free boards, Mylar bags and backing to hit my needs.

I use acid free tape for any adhering needs in creating the protective cover/sleeves.

I have been using Bill Cole comic book protection products for years now...
Bill Cole's BCW has a good reputation in the comic book world -and that is saying something.

I live in the UK, and buy WH Smith collectors series products.
The "postcard" sized double sided A4 leaves come in packs of five, and each page will comfortably hold eight soldbuch/wehrpass sized documents.

According to the USNA, polypropylene is considered a safe and stable material for archival storage. If that's incorrect, it would be good to know! I've been using a lot of polypropylene for storage of documents uniforms.

You want Mylar,period.
Use a acid free board and Mylar bag and your set...
You can cut them in to custom shapes etc.. Or, when I collected Soldbuchs depending on size etc. I could get 4 books front and 4 books back..

For bet prices comic supplies are best.. IF you go to that Coles link provider here and scroll down a bit you can click on a ad about your comics falling apart etc. Click on it and you will get to read a very good article about paper degradation and acid free board and bags...
