    Thread size on leather holsters?

    I have a couple holsters with the thread disintegrating on them and am wonder what is the best thread or thread size to use to re-sew them. One is a German Browning HP and the other is a Finnish Beretta. Any input would be appreciated.

    I' d have Jerry Burney repair them. He does great work and it'll be done right.

      I am fairly competent at sewing and I want to do these myself. Just looking for the best thread.
