Oxalic acid in deck fence cleaner

I'm cleaning the fence and noticed Home Depo's Behr deck cleaner has it at 10% level. At this level it strips grime, dirt, mildew and takes the grey off weathered wood. Good Stuff! It took me awhile to find the product locally in crystal form due to our restrictions on chemicals. So this could be a usefull backup product.

I thought eveyone in this conservation section knows oxalic acid removes rust off ground dug relics, no?? lol. At 10 % level it is safe to use and won't turn the metals blue etc as I know some people have over done it with the stuff and ruined relics. On top of being a total health hazard at high doses.

The active ingredient in "Bar Keeper's Friend" is oxalic acid. Figured i'd mention that.
