    Standarte/banner storage

    Hello,

Just curious if anyone has found any other storage method for standards/banners that the above pinned one? Per haps some sort of case?

I have an embroidered nice flag that I'd like to find a solution for - length is about 60 inches.

    Thanks!

    Hello Scott:
Pinned thread tips are IMO all well and good.
But I've have had hundreds of flags, and found
that they pretty much survive OK without much
ado - they seem to long outlast their owners,
unless burned up in a fire or eaten up by bugs.

PS/ Would love to see your flag, maybe on the WAF flag forum

      Hi OFW,

I tried to email you, but I guess you didnt receive it. I'd be very curious to hear how you implement storage for nicer standards with embroidery work and tassle borders?

(I'm just referring to the French one I posted).

Bravo on your already posted "French one",
a very nice flag. Some may cringe regarding my
own flag storage methods, a combination of kept
out of direct sunlight, and light use of moth balls.
This works well for me, but to each their own.

Do you keep them rolled? In some sort of storage case/tube?

Some, but too many and too much
space required to do such on all. So
most are folded, and now in storage.

(below) Back when I did shows I did flag
displays to air them out and to let gravity
slowly relax some of the storage folds.
