    mould on leather

I recently discovered mould on my belt, anyone have any good ideas to get rid of it and to prevent it ? I do have a dehumidifier but the belt wasnt in the same room for some reason.

Is there any product that could prevent it from happening again ?

    cheers

You may want to conduct a WAF site search on removing mold from leather. There are several methods to use, but before that I would say you got to control the humidity in your storage area. There are plenty of past postings on this very topic.
A slightly damp cloth with water should do the job. A more severe area of mold. Use a simple ratio of 50% rubbing alcohol to 50% water mixed together in a cup/bowl. I find letting it dry out doors is great. Do not over apply or saturate the leather. Repeat if necessary, but allow 24 hours between the first application.<O</O
