    NCO-shoulderboards SchützenRegiment 26

    I have these nice boards, which was glued in a scrapbook.
    Do you have an idea how i can remove the glue? I have tried "Dr. Beckmann" but the glue is too deep in the felt. Could i freeze it?

      Glue

      I would leave them just as they are. It is too risky damaging the straps for a side that was not meant to be seen!

        Yes, always best to leave them alone. Since you cannot tell when or what type of glue was use you may wind up damaging them further. If it was glued back 70 years ago. Most glue was animal base and usually water should remove it. Sinced you have tried another product with no change to the glue surface. I guessing that a polymer was add to the glue (mid to early 50's -60s).
