    What is the weight of thread used for tunic insignia?

    Hi Tony K, I bought some thread from klausbuschek.com . If you search for "thread " what ever he has left should come up. The field grey roll is 25 gramm and made by Gotermann's. the roll of panzer black is 25 gramm. the star cards appear to be 30g. Hope this helps.Sorry I cannot post attachments yet or I would have posted some photo's

      Most german uniform threads were either 30 or 40 wrap. Most were cotton thread.
