    Dulled tresse

    Hello.
Can dulled alum tresse be brought back to life.
    Thanks.

I'm not aware of any such treatment. I wouldn’t feel safe to offer any type of treatment, or a suggestion on an old sewn on tresses. Without causing more damage to the already darkening tresses. Darkening is usually part of the environment, soiling, laundering and body oils.

I would leave it alone, I tried to clean it before and nothing seems to work. If on shoulder boards, even water can be bad, as the dye from the piping can bleed into the wool body of the board.
