Flattened out IAB

Wondering if anyone can or does "restore" badges. Don't really know if it's worth it, but just bought a badge here on the forum, it a hollowback SWB, kind of flattened out and tweaked. Of course I wasn't told this by the seller, don't really know if it's worth doing.

I actually took some care and was able to fix it. Used a plastic dowel and brass mallet and was able to gently coax it back into shape. The seller really made -0- effort to protect the badge in transit. Especially considering it was a pretty flimsy hollowback IAB. Some thin plastic padding and place in a small envelope. The end result is posted in the Heer badge section for opinions/manuf.
