        Hi Jaquesf !
Here is a photo of the device. It is a battery operated Led-Stripe auto adhesive 230cm in length. It cost me 2,99 euros!

        Hi Douglas!
The light i bought has no strong leds. Its effect is an even, dim lightning of a warm white and doesnt produce heat I find it ideal for the cabinet and it gives also a nice atmosphere. As for UV it must be really minimal to zero against all other light sources.

Here you can see my humble collection if you are interesetd! Have a great day!

            UV radiation --
            https://oeo.com/led-lights-emit-uv-radiation/

From what I've read, the amount of UV given off by these small adhesive LED
            strips is practically zero.

Exactly gregM! I did my research too. And as i wrote further down in my older post, the result is very satisfying because it spreads a soft warm light equally everywhere that also adds to the correct atmosphere of the display. Its very cheap (3.00 euros) and just needs 3 AAA Batteries. No cords and connections needed. Also no tools to place it. It is autoadhesive. I believe its the best idea for a cabinet.

                        Fantastic work! beautiful ships!
The first cabinet that has a wooden frame could be ideal for the led stripe, because you can hide it from eyesight and have a great equal lighting of the ship!!

Well the helmets definately look great and the cabinet too! But I presume they are led flooding lights 10w -30 w?. So they put out a strong amount of light and also some heat, when left lit.
Color like paint fades more difficult than fabrics so i think just lighting them up onve in a while wont harm them.
I am not sure if i would use them on Uniform or cloth items though.

                          Anyway Fantastic collection of helmets!!!
