Hi, can anyone suggest any oils (available in the uk) for keeping my de-acts metal & wooden parts clean & protected? Cheers

Personally I would use engine degreasant (like 'GUNK') to get rid of any grease remaining from storage, as the fluff will stick to it like sh!t to a blanket.
Then buy some gun oil from a hunting shop and lightly oil the working parts ie the parts not open to the atmosphere like the breechblock, magazine housing etc. Occasionally you may wish to strip them down if possible and cleanand re-oil but I rarely bother.
You can then just run a dry duster over them as required. This is all that I do and mine are fine and have been for several years
