    Old paint removing

    Hi mates,
    got small old unknown paint spots on HBT fabric.Any experience how to remove them?

    Petr.. Is it oil paint? I am cautious on removing the paint. I'm concerned the HBT color maybe lighten of stripped out fabric. Paul

      like paul says, it most likely brighter underneath. If your lucky the paint is only on top and can be peeled of with you finger nail. Try on a spot that isnt very visuable.

        thank you very much for your answers,I will see what is possible. I thought, if there was any universal thinner suitable for old dry paint /something like dry cleaners use/.

          I have used a product called Xtreme Goo Gone to remove tar, it works great! I have also used it to remove old dried paint, it didn't completely remove it, but it removed the majority of it....I was happy with the results, as with anything try in a small inconspicuous spot first and go from there.
