Police Dagger Removal ?'s!!

Hey Guys!! Should I remove this green stuff or leave it as found?? Thank in advance for any advice given!!

its so little so you could leave it.
I think it would go away easily but then you will have a uneven patina since the underneath surface most likely are brighter.

I would just scrape it away with my fingernail or a wooden toothpick. If left there over time it will pit the metal.
