A housewife's question!

How the hell do you remove white deodrant stains from clothes?
I've got a couple of expensive shirts in dark colours that are ruined by these stains. I heard white vinegar would do it but no luck there.
Any other things I could try?

There's also a series of german products Doktor Beckamnn, they have more than dozen different cleansers in small plastic flasks for different tipes of stains.
