    M40 Relic

    Hi to all,

I have this M40 lid which is in relic condition-bits of rust mixed with "fossilized" dirt all over it. I want your suggestions about how should I store it/treat it in order to prevent any further deterioration. I live in a place with very high humidity (the last days it has skyrocketed to 98%)

All suggestion are more than welcome

The first thing I would do is try and wipe all that dirt off and keep it dry. Also this is an m35.
    Hope that helps

apologies this is an M35-My bad.
Well these brown spots is rust mixed with dirt and it has formed a strong mass that can not be removed from the surface of the lid without scratching it hard....I guess this is not recommended right?

No its not recommended, I think the main responses you will get will be to leave it alone
