    WWI Liberty Loan poster restoration success!

    For your viewing enjoyment here is the restoration result of my WWI Liberty Loan poster. This was done by a Toronto area movie poster restoration hobbyist AT COST!

    Amazing!! One of the benefits of living in the big city I suppose is having access to craftsmen that can do this kind of work! This is by far one of the best posters to come out of WWI and well worth the cost to restore it.

            It's quite impressive isn't it?!

            It's mounted on archival linen. He's matched up the paper level with some kind of filler. And matched the paint colours and hand painted in the missing parts.

            I can see why he does it mostly as a hobby because it must be quite rewarding.
