Hi guys. I just piched up an M17 German steel helmet. The helmet is in good condition exept that later in it's life sombody simulated a camo paint scheme with a hugh Iron Cross on the front. I would like to restore the helmet back to the original green color on the inside. Is there a process to remove the fakSteel Helmet Painte paint and uncover the original baked on surface or should I just repaint the helmet. If repainting is the best option what would be the best method. Thanks for your time. Bill.,
