    Incasing your full mannequin

    Hi Guys,

What do you do when you have kids and also want to keep mots and dust as far from your collection as possible. Yes, you incase your full mannequin . I always wanted a glass case for my mannequin but never thought that this would fit in a normal kabinetcase you can by with Ikea.
Just an idea for those who are looking for similar protection.

      Hi Patrick,

I realy don't know. I bought this case more than ten years ago. But this is no problem. Ikea must still have these cases. Mine is a standard size case, nothing special. And of cource you must have a small mannequin to fit.

        Great Idea!
This is something I have thought about many times, but the size and cost of the cabinets is prohibitive.
        Great Display

I agree that it certainly looks nice and well-protected from the dangers you mentioned. I would not have thought that an entire mannequin would fit in an Ikea case. Very interesting!

              moths

Nice looking case. I hope it does the trick.

Where I live, I've seen the "moths", and they aren't very big though. They look more like large mosquitos and their larvae, which actually do the damage, have little cocoons that look like a piece of carpet fuzz.

I've actually gone away from full mannequins because of the bug problem.

That said, your display looks great.

                Hi Guys,

It does the trick very nicely. I still enjoy the looks of it very mutch. For now i am looking for a similar case to put next to the other. I would like to put my second mannequin next to it. Looks very smart (and safe) .

The trick is to find (next to the case) a small mannequin. The big ones that are out there won't fit at all.
