      Are other pieces in your collection getting dark too or only this one? I mean it is very possible that your DK has been cleaned before you bought it and now it is simply comming back to its pre-cleaned condition. Happened to me numerous times when I received it looks brand new and in matter of months it is aging in front of your eyes.

        yes, only the 1914 ek is dark because it´s silver. all other badges are 100% good and zink badges are excellent.

          How come you are so sure they had been cleaned?
          Maybe it's your environment.. and some stuff with silver content is changing colors...

            here is a PAB i have from a long time ago, it comes with a few zinkpest when i bought it. the zinkpest doesn´t advance.
            I´m not saying that the DKiG was cleaned, i´m not 100% sure of course.
