Well, I sure am glad that got worked out. The main thing that confused me from the beginning was when you said that this white area had developed on the cross, since it was in your possession and it had been noticed only later, after being in storage. I just never imagined that frosting would have developed on the cross while in storage, if it was not there earlier. I've never heard of that happening before. Yes, that is certainly the obvious which I completely ruled out, after I tried to consdier only what could have developed. I guess I look like an idiot here, but I just tend to go with the details and think in terms of the info I get.
In retrospect, I probably just made this more confusing. Sorry about that.
