    Dagger Case

    Hello...
    Just been looking at the Lakeside trader website, they sell specially tailored padded and zippered dagger cases which look perfect for storage........anybody out there know if anyone supplies a comparable item in Great Britain ??

      I would be careful with those cases. If you are looking to store your high end daggers in that type of case. You might be encountering a host of problems down the road with your daggers stored in them. They are prone to attract moisture. They also out gas due to the cheap inside padding. Nylon will hold moisture in and around you dagger. As you may know moisture will lead to rust. In the conservation field I have seen one of a kind pistol and bayos, and daggers ruined by these inexpensive nylon bags/pouchs. Paul

        Good point mentioned by Paul. I personally dont "store" my daggers in these cases, but when I'm cleaning out my displays and moving things about I do put them in these cases for short period.
