What one needs to remember is that it is not just the humidity. That will bring a tunic to it's demise. Before you got that tunic. It most likely went through hell and back. The fabric and threads have been pulled on, have been streatched out, sweated in, rained on, fallen on. Even if you had it cleaned. You now trust that hanger for the next 30 years for support? That little hanger will stress out the threads seams lining, and collar. Just for the fun of it weigh a complete tunic. Now imagine that little hanger holding the entire weight of that tunic for 30 years. You invested how much money into that tunic to trust a hanger? You have got to be kidding. Right!
Here's another experiment take a men's clean white T shirt and put it on a hanger. Put it in the closet for a year. The take a look at it off the hanger, and see what it look like. I bet that it will not look even close to new. Paul

I had a golf shirt that was 100% cotton and the fabric itself wasnt very tight or close. It's a very breathable golf shirt. I didnt wear it for some months and then one day decided to wear it. When I took it off the wire hanger I noticed that the wire hanger had stretched the shoulder area of the golf shirt. I had to wash it and throw it in the dryer for some of its original shape to return.

Luckily its only a $50 golf shirt and not a 900+ tunic thats 60 yrs old. The problem of storing a tunic is a factor in why I would not want to collect original TR tunics. It would be nice to ahve but at the same time I wouldnt want to be responsible for its slow demise.

Goodluck with the display of your collection Vincent, I'll be on the look out when you post pictures!
