Bob reccommends Don Swanson for repair work. It may be worth your time contacting a couple of these guys.

This is my dagger. Since it had a near mint Social Welfare scabbard, I purchased it with the langet already broken for $110. The break was clean and if I held the parts together the break almost disappeared, which made me think it might be able to be repaired.

I sent it to a MAJOR dagger dealer here in the states who said he could repair it. I got it back a month later looking like this, with an appology that the repair did not go as well has the dealer planned. After stuffing the piece in a drawer for three years, I saw Jimmy's work on badges on this forum and was inspired to contact him.

If this repair turns out as good as his badges I will be very happy. Let's see what magic he can work.

Lord almighty Jimmy if I didn't know better, I'd think you just swap the broken things with fixed ones! You're too good!
