Great artical Robert. Some other research that ran accross also stated that finger prints left behind on these metals will help cause zinc pest. Human acid in the oils from the finger prints is also known to cause it. Another reinforcement to wear gloves when handling our treasures. Other interior pollutents, or chemicals from materials from cheap storage boxes that out gas can help accelrate it as well. Paul
