I'm looking for some of the above but have only been able to find ones on ebay which I think are a bit expensive (not to mention the transatlantic post). Does anyone know a good source of these please?

If you're looking for sword displays or dagger displays, check out Bill Shea's site at www.therupturedduck.com I've bought his dagger stands, and I rather like them. As far as rifle stands, can't help ya there

Thanks - I've seen them but they are not exactly what I'm after.
I'm looking for an MP40 stand, an awkward shape when it comes to display - however, I've found a bloke in England who sells these stands on ebay and he's sent my specs off to his manufacturer. If they work out I'll post the results

I had a plexiglas stand made for an M1 Garand at a fabricator a few blocks from my home. I found that there are about a half dozen such dealers within a two mile radius.
Check your phone directory, or the Internet for plastic fabricators, or custom display houses. I'm confident that you'll find a few near you, and not only can you have them made to order, but you'll save a ton of money, as well....
