We're obviously concerned in case there's still a problem, would carful vacuming remove any further moth eggs ?
I mentioned the freezer solution to him, but he's reluctant to do that. Is there anything else that can be done ?
If you can't get it in UK, I have some cans left.

The freezer, put it in the freezer. Just make sure you wrap it in paper towl to absorb any moisture and then into a sealed plastic bag. 48H upwards in , defrost for 24, back in for 48h in. Add two ice cubes stir, for twenty minutes until smooth ans serve at room temprature. You can also try to fart into the breeze for two seconds. Hope this help. Jacques

I'm afraid that normal household freezer is not enough anymore, or at least you should, according to my brother who is a biologist, keep your stuff in there for two weeks time. After two weeks get it out for a while to defrost and then stuff it back for another two weeks... this should kill also the eggs. He says that some "new improved" moth spiece eggs can resist "old school" ways...
At the universtiy my brother has two freezers, first is -27 C and other one gets down to -80 C ... that kills 'em all.... quickly!

Ok, an idea for all of you out there. Use some moth balls. Yes they might smell a little. But once an item is aired out a little the smell goes away. Moth balls are the best and safest way to keep kritters of all types out of your collection or even your attic or basement. There is a chemical in the moth balls that animals can smell and dislikes it, sorry I can not recall the name of it at this time. When I worked animal control thats what we would recomend to people with squirrels or racoons problem.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Brian
