    Small Plastic Display Stands...Safe?

    Hello,

    I've been seeing a lot people using those small clear plastic display stands to display everything from badges to patches. My question is, does anyone know if these display stands are archival and safe fro collectables?
    Some plastics can discolor metal and damage thread.
    Does anyone know for sure if these stands are truly safe?

    I can't say "for sure", but I do know they are usually used for coins and such (also collectables) so they wouldn't (I don't think) have something harmful. So many people use them I don't think there is any need to worry, though I don't know 100%.
